JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a highly motivated organic chemist with a background in synthetic organic/lipid chemistry. The successful candidate will be part of the chemistry team and synthesize lipids as it relates to NeoVac’s novel Lipid Nanoparticle (LNP) technology.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

Designing and synthesis of lipid molecules independently.
Designing, implementing, and managing high standards of laboratory safety.
Researching relevant scientific literature and chemical database.
Reporting and presenting R&D discoveries.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Ph.D. in organic chemistry or chemical biology; or M.S. with 1-3 years of relevant R&D experience.
Experience with analytical techniques such as NMR, LC-MS, HPLC etc.
Solid knowledge in synthetic organic chemistry
Lipid synthesis & characterization would be beneficial.
